Highlight All Matches
Hi there,
Another silly question: How can I permanently kill that annoying 'Highlight All Matches" thing? Forever! I hate it! I know I can turn it off once it has pissed me off, but I have not found a place to turn it off completely.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Highlight All Matches
Until Dyalog fixes it so that it highlights them when needed rather than afterwards when you don't you can delete the contents of the search field as soon as you've found what you want.
Not much help but keeps the bood pressure down a bit.

Hi Kim
Today: you can't - that looks like a bit of an oversight on our part. However I've just raised
017433: The current state of "Highlight All Matches" (in Edit menu when in editor) is not remembered across APL processes
I've raised this against 17.0.
Phil: can we have a chat about your comment this in Konventum ?

Hi Kim,
You can make it far less prominent by changing
Options>Colors…>Element>Searched Text
to have the same Background as your general code and a neutral Foreground.
