Databinding: scope of binding source and of binding target

Postby AndyS|Dyalog on Wed Jul 30, 2014 11:11 am

Currently it is essential to ensure that a variable used as the binding source MUST remain in scope while the binding target exists. If the variable is removed (by, for example, erasing it, or exiting a function which localised the variable) then APL will cease running. It may be best therefore to create such variables as global variables, or to ensure that both variable and target (usually a WPF GUI) are in the same scope. Data binding is performed by using 2015⌶.
