We are very sad to pass on the news that Roger Hui passed away peacefully on Saturday October 16th and join the APL and J communities and Roger's family and many friends in mourning his loss.

What a sad surprise. I'd been missing Roger's apparent ubiquity already but never dreamt that that was the reason. Lovely bloke. I'll miss him personally but we'll all miss his influence on the language.
