Dyalog'11 Training Courses
We are planning training courses for Dyalog'11 in Boston, October 2-5. Training will be all day Sunday 2nd and on the afternoon of Wednesday 5th. At the moment, we have the following list of topics for training courses:
1. Developing GUI applications using Windows Presentation Foundation
2. Writing Secure Applications in Dyalog APL (introduction to encryption)
3. Using the .NET Framework
4. Using Excel to produce Graphs and Reports from APL
5. SALT+UCMDS+DevtTools
6a. Stand-Alone Web Applications (aka "Web Apps without .Net")
6b. Web Applications using Microsoft IIS
7. Introduction to Object Oriented Programming in APL
8. "Hands On" Unicode Conversion Workshop
It would be useful to have some input on deciding how to prioritize the courses. If you are considering attending Dyalog'11, it would be very helpful if you could send an e-mail to mkrom@dyalog.com in the following format:
"I would definitely be interested in: 44,77,88 (using numbers from the above list)
I would definitely NOT be interested in: 66,22
I suggest you consider a course on: (some subject NOT in the above list)"
Thanks in advance for your input!
