Roberto Minervini, from Liceo Classico S. M. Legnani (Italy), challenges our view on traditional teaching techniques. He explains that most Italian secondary schools are out of touch with the present and are ill-equipped to prepare students for the future. He then shares his experience teaching APL as a mathematical tool to a high school class.

First place winner, Arianna Locatelli, (Liceo Classico S. M. Legnani), shows us how she solved the Dyalog Problem Solving Competition. She also talks briefly about her linguistic background and how, through the help of her teacher and classmates, was able to bridge the gap between human science and IT.
