Crash in 18.2
After editing a program, when selecting Fix, 18.2 crashed with the message
Dyalog APL Version 18.2 Development Environment has stopped working
Debug or Close Program. It said options of what to do would appear after closing but nothing else appeared.
How do I capture data of interest to support and who does it get sent to?

Happened more than once when executing Fix.

Re: Crash in 18.2
Hi Jmosk,
I'm sorry that you are experiencing these hangs/crashes!
If you can reproduce the problem, please send us files and instructions to reproduce the problem here.
If you cannot reproduce the problem at will, please generate a process dump when you see that "Dyalog APL Version 18.2 Development Environment has stopped working" dialog.
You can do that by starting Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Escape.
Please go to the Details tab. Right click on the Dyalog process that has stopped working and choose "Create dump file". Windows will generate a dump file and tell you where it is.
Please put it in a zip file and write to us at support@dyalog.com.
In your email, please let us know your full version number.
Regards,
Vince

Re: Crash in 18.2
The problem occuurs randomly when I either fix or ESC from editing a file.
I just created a test file with 4 lines of code. When I hit ESC it crahsed. I created a dump file which I will send to support@dyalog.com
Running 18.2.45405 but without patches. I have been unable to log into the folder to install the patch file. It was not taking my username and password.
Please provide the link to the patch file here and I will try again.

Re: Crash in 18.2
I am going to hold off sending the crash dump file. I was able to log into my.dyalog.com and to download the patch file and install it. I am now at 18.2.48839. So I will see if I experience the same issues or not. Perhaps I was running into something that was addressed in the patch file.
I had to have a password reset and a new password was emailed to me. But I don't see in my.dyalog.com where I can now change the password to a new one I wish to set.

Hi Jmosk,
To change your password in My Dyalog, go to the My Account page.
There is a box there where you type in the current password, and the new password. There is another edit field to confirm what the new password is.

Vince
